Kokopelli Choir Association's executive director Kathleen Luyk (née Skinner) manages many of the administrative workings of the organization as well as conducting Òran and Vacilando.
Kimberley Denis, M.Mus. Choral Conducting and Vocal Performance (University of Alberta, 2007), B.Mus. (Mount Allison University, 2003), B. Comm. (Mount Allison University, 2003) is known for her energy and enthusiasm both on stage and off, and is sought after as a soloist, choral clinician, and adjudicator for voice and choir.
Ms. Carmen So is the founding director of Kikimasu. She is known for her ability to bring fun, energy, and excitement into the music learning process. She completed her Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education combined degrees in 2004, and completed a Master of Education degree in Elementary Music at the University of Alberta in 2015.
Having sung with Kokopelli for several years before moving to Òran, Ms. Rachel Beach (Tamariki 1 & 2, Mondays) is a long-time member of our choir organization, who assisted with our children’s choir Kikimasu until starting Tamariki.
Laura Hawley is a Canadian musician known for her compelling approach to musical leadership and artistic programming, multi-faceted community engagement, and distinctive compositional style. She is the newest addition to the Kokopelli Artistic Team, as conductor of the new women's choir ChandraTala.
Ms. Natasha Lybbert (Tamariki 1 & 2, Wednesdays) is very happy to be working with Tamariki! She has been a part of the Kokopelli Choir Association for many years singing with Kokopelli and then Òran.
